New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is just as famous for his off-field social life as he is for his on-field dominance. That's why it's fun to read a handful of excerpts from the All-Pro tight end's upcoming book "It's Good to Be Gronk."
The book appears to be filled with entertaining stories about football and partying. One would think the latter wouldn't sit so well with gruff Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who has lovingly been compared to the Emperor from "Star Wars" in the past. But, one just might be wrong in this case.
In the book, Gronkowski recalls a conversation he had with Belichick about how he uses his free time and argues that "the fun stuff makes me grind harder."
"He shook his head and walked away and said, 'Whatever works for you...'" Gronkowski wrote, via the Boston Herald.
It's all so obvious why the party keeps on rolling for Gronkowski: It's his secret weapon, the fuel to his DeLorean. So far, Belichick's response has worked out well for all parties involved.
