Another new Oreo flavor is headed to stores near you! Key Lime Pie Oreos, Nabisco's latest creation, is the latest in a long line of limited-edition flavors from Nabisco.
Nabisco's new cookies are made using the graham crackers from its S'mores treat along with a variation of the limited-edition limeade creme from last year. So it may be more accurate to say that this is a new combination, rather than an entirely new flavor.
Like other limited-edition flavors, these cookies come in a 10.7-ounce package rather than the standard 14.3-ounce package that you usually see in stores, according to Consumerist.
Earlier this week, Nabisco unveiled a more sophisticated take on the Oreo, Oreo Thin, which comes in flavors such as classic, golden and mint. This update on the classic cookie is "healthier" because four of these new cookies contain 140 calories, whereas four regular Oreos have 160 calories, according to Inquisitr.
Key Lime Pie Oreos have been on store shelves since July 7, at approximately $4.49 per package, according to Us Weekly. However, depending on your location, these rare Oreos may not be available at all.
Key Lime Pie isn't the only limited-edition Oreo that Nabisco offered to the public this year: S'mores, Cotton Candy and Red Velvet were released earlier in 2015.
