Jennifer Lawrence hates to sing in public but she had no problem busting out her best Cher impression on last night's "Conan," broadcasting from San Diego Comic Con.
After her "Hunger Games" co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth teased that Lawrence likes to break into song on occasion, the 24-year-old actress admitted she does like to sing Cher. Hutcherson then counted her in and they both belted out the Grammy Award-winner's 1998 hit single "Believe."
Host Conan O'Brien asked Lawrence about her own hit song, "The Hanging Tree," from "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," which peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Oscar-winning actress downplayed the success of the song, making inappropriate noises and saying the words "The Hunger Games" in a funny voice to argue even a song like that would top the charts.
"I'm being told that just hit No. 1!" O'Brien joked.
Lawrence, Hutcherson and Hemsworth made their last appearance at Comic Con to promote "The Hunger Games" franchise on Thursday. The tight-knit co-stars playfully joked around during the panel, also moderated by O'Brien. They were joined by actress Willow Shields, director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" hits theaters on Nov. 20.
