Los Angeles Police Department is on the lookout for a reckless driver maneuvering through traffic for miles along one of the city's busiest roads in reverse, according to The Washington Post.
"It definitely was a shocker for me," said Kevin Zanazanian, who captured the whole thing on his cellphone camera as he followed the car. The vehicle, identified as an Audi, can be seen driving in reverse for about two miles along the windy turns of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in what was "some of the most reckless driving investigators have seen," according to the LAPD, CBS News reported.
"This guy's going backwards on oncoming traffic! Amazing," Zanazanian can be heard saying on camera. "Only in LA!" he adds.
Zanazanian said the incident took place at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Thursday and there appeared to be two people in the Audi, a man in the driver's seat and a woman seated on the passenger seat.
Police said the driver could face several charges, including reckless driving, crossing double-yellow lines and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. The LAPD said the car had dealer plates and an investigation is ongoing, according to CNN.
