Back in February, Caitlyn Jenner was involved in a horrific three-car accident in Malibu which left one person dead. Now, months later, and just days after the footage of the crash was released to the public, it has been confirmed that Jenner will not face any felony charges.
The video finalized the decision that the 65-year-old reality star had not committed a felony, TMZ has reported. L.A. County Sherriff's investigators saw the footage from an MTA bus camera which shows a very clear image of Jenner's SUV crashing into a Lexus and black Prius. Jenner was simply inattentive at the time. Since the evidence shows there was no texting or talking on the phone, or any drinking or drugs involved, the highest charge she could face was misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
The Lexus in the video was driven by Kim Howe, who tragically died in the crash, according to Daily Mail. In May, Howe's two stepchildren filed a lawsuit against Jenner for wrongful death and claimed that she had been speeding at the time. Police reports did not support the claims. Even though it came out that the two had 'virutally no relationship' with Howe, they are doing this to seek compensation over the killing.
Jenner has not yet gotten any criminal chargers, but local prosecutors are reportedly still considering.
