Jennifer Lopez is best known these days for her long, luscious locks but this summer she's been staying cool with a shoulder-length bob. She even went a little shorter, showing off her latest 'do on Instagram.
"Short hair don't care..." Lopez captioned the pic of her short-layered look.
The 45-year-old actress-singer was sporting lose waves before her cut for her role on the new NBC show, "Shades of Blue," which she's shooting in New York City with Ray Liotta.
J. Lo paired her new hairdo with a bright, royal blue dress and some hot smoky blue eye shadow.
She first debuted her shorter look in May while walking through the Los Angeles airport. The clown prankster, Richie the Barber, gave a little extra sparkle by glitter bombing the "American Idol" host.
Lopez's longtime Lorenzo Martin told People earlier this year that he always tries to keep her 'do fashionable and updated.
"Thing about Jennifer is she looks good in everything, and she has amazing hair which makes my job very easy," Martin said. "We work together so much, we have to constantly switch it up so she looks fresh. I'm pretty lucky."
