Meghan Trainor is returning to the stage.
One week after the 22-year-old entertainer was forced to cancel and postpone several more shows due to vocal cord hemorrhage. Trainor revealed that she has been cleared to start singing again.
She will resume her tour at The Pageant in St. Louis, Miss. on Tuesday.
"Great news!!! DOCTOR SAYS IM OK TO SING!! so happy!! Riding around the house on my new #Mohawk thanks to @onpointworld #goodday snapchat is Mtrainor22," the singer announced on Instagram.
Trainor has been on vocal rest since early July due to the hemorrhage in her vocal chords. She announced her vocal issues via Instagram and promised that she would make up the missed dates to her fans.
"I don't want anyone worrying, but I have had a hemorrhage on my vocal cords," she wrote in a post. "Right now the doctors want me on complete vocal rest until they are healed so I have to postpone my first two shows in Atlantic City and Connecticut. I promise that I will make it up to my Megatronz.
"I have never missed a tour date before so this is killing me. I love you all very much and want to get healed quickly so I can show you this amazing tour we've been working on. I am truly sorry to everyone who has bought tickets and made travel plans. I hate this. (sic)"
Trainor also took time during her vocal rest to release a new music video for "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" with John Legend!
