The "Twilight" Saga series has enjoyed success like no other film and fans can't wait for the final dose of the Vampire addiction.
Summit Entertainment released the official poster of "Twilight Breaking Dawn - Part 2" on Monday, raising the level of anticipation for the release of the film. Along with the poster, Summit also released fresh stills from the upcoming film that has been swarming the Internet.
"Twilight Breaking Dawn - Part 1" was a big success and pre-booked tickets for the first day first show set new records. However, a report by Perez Hilton suggests that Part 2 has beat Part 1's pre-sale records. According to the report, there is an 87 percent increase in sale figures as compared to Part 1.
According to E! News, the first movie installment of the trilogy's final book earned $626,000 on its first-day advance ticket sales, but Part II raked in an astounding $1.17 million for its first-day advance ticket sales on Monday. If you're having trouble with the math, that's an 87 percent increase.
According to MTV News, the majority of those ticket sales were linked to fans that purchased The Twilight Saga marathon tickets, which offers the opportunity for fans to watch all the previous films before the last installment hits theaters on Nov. 16.
Many tabloids also speculate that the rise in sale figures could also be because of the controversy that has recently surrounded the lead actors of the film. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's reconciliation after Stewart's cheating scandal has lead to extra promotion of the film.
Adding to the fans of the "Twilight" series are Robsten fans. They can't wait to see their favorite couple back together, even if it is just onscreen.
However, there are rumors that suggest the couple is back together merely for the film. According to RadarOnline, Pattinson and Stewart are putting on a united front for the sake of the final installment of the "Twilight" saga.
"Rob and Kristen are simply making sure that the promotional tour for the final Twilight movie goes as smoothly as possible," a source revealed to the tabloid.
