The name of Bobby Brown's newborn baby girl has been revealed, and it may bring him and his wife Alicia Etheredge some much needed peace to the family amid the Bobbi Kristina tragedy.
The newborn baby girl's birth certificate, obtained by TMZ, shows that her full name is Bodhi Jameson Rein Brown. She was born last Thursday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., as HNGN previously reported.
Baby Bodhi is the latest addition to the Brown-Etheredge family, joining her 5-year-old big brother Cassius. Bodhi is a term used in Buddhism and is related to the concept of enlightenment. Buddhists believe in achieving enlightenment until they've reached its highest form, nirvana, which is a perfect state of peace and happiness. "Bodhi" translates to "enlightenment," or "awakened," in English, according to Us Weekly.
The little girl's name will hopefully bring some peace and happiness to the Brown family after the tragic events surrounding her big step-sister. Bobbi Kristina has remained under medical care at the Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Ga. after her body was found floating face down in a bathtub earlier this year. She was placed under a medically induced coma and has made little to no progress, as HNGN previously reported.
Brown has four other children from previous relationships, including 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, whom he shares with his late ex-wife Whitney Houston.
