Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) announced Etihad Airways will be an official carrier and one of the sponsors of the Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013, according to Breaking Travel News.
Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is the largest airport operators in United Arab Emirates that owns and controls five airports: Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport, Sir Bani Yas Island Airport and Delma Island Airport.
The Abu Dhabi Air Expo being the only General Aviation Exhibition in the Middle East attracts a huge audience including owners, pilots, enthusiasts and professionals in the aviation field. The Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013 is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors from all across the Middle East region.
The Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013 will run March 5-7. During the three-day exhibition, visitors will witness the finest range of aviation including aircraft, pilot training schools, helicopters, equipment, services and conference.
"After the success of last year's Exhibition, ADAC is looking forward to hosting the second Air Expo in Abu Dhabi again at Al Bateen Executive Airport, and is optimistic that many new partnerships, important for the growth of the general aviation industry here in Abu Dhabi, will form during the three day' show," Yousif Hassan Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for Abu Dhabi Air Expo and General Manager of Al Bateen Executive Airport, said in a statement, according to Breaking Travel News. "ADAC is delighted to have Etihad Airways' support and commitment for an event that is vital to the success of the general aviation industry here in the Capital."
