Tilda Switon is almost unrecognizable in the new movie "Trainwreck." In the Judd Apatow-directed film written by Amy Schumer, Swinton plays Diana, a brassy and crass men's magazine editor, reported People.
"She's kind of pitched herself at that because she thinks that's like the kind of alpha female magazine editor and that was it really," Swinton told TooFab about her character's look. "That she would be dressed in Victoria Beckham because she kind of aspires to Victoria Beckham's aesthetic and is a trainwreck, let's face it! But it's all done very scrupulously, she's trying to look as absolutely alpha as she can."
"I'm delighted to say that I'm unrecognizable. I don't know whether one would really want to be recognizable in this role. It's a lot of makeup and a kind of tandoori tan and a wig, and that's all it takes," Swinton told the Huffington Post.
The 54-year-old actress is more known for her dramatic work in "Snowpiercer," "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "Michael Clayton," for which she won an Oscar.
The movie also stars Bill Hader, Lebron James, Vanessa Bayer, Randall Park and Colin Quinn. "Trainwreck" Is out now in the United States.
