Alex Trebek beautifully spoke words to Rihanna’s hit song “Umbrella” during a recent broadcast of the popular game show “Jeopardy.”
“She sang 'Now that it’s more than ever, you can stand under my umbrella…ella, ella, eh eh eh,'” the 31-year host of the trivia program read after a contestant tried his luck at the “Raining Songs” category. The $400 selection chosen by a contestant named Phil, and correctly answered by a woman named Val, stems from the Barbados native’s 2007 track featuring Brooklyn, N.Y-born MC Jay-Z.
You can find the record on “Riri’s” “Good Girl Gone Bad” album, according to YouTube.
Trebek’s stint in the pop music world was his second since a phrase came up from “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme song in June, according to the Huffington Post.
“In the theme to this '90’s sitcom, 'I pulled up to the house about seven or eight, and I yelled to the cabbie, yo homes, smell ya later,'" Trebek reads in the video.
