Hannah Anderson Was 'Trouble'? James Lee DiMaggio's Sister Defends His 'Innocence,' Claims Investigation Is Missing Information

The family of James Lee DiMaggio is reportedly no longer seeking DNA samples from Hannah Anderson and brother Ethan Anderson, but the alleged killer and kidnapper's sister is reaching out to the media to defend her brother.

Lora DiMaggio spoke to CNN's Piers Morgan on Tuesday, claiming there were many holes in the investigation against her brother.

"It's very hard to believe that someone who was just so genuine and so dependable every single solitary day just woke up one day and decided to do this," Lora told Piers Morgan, referring to her brother.

Lora also claims she told her brother 16-year-old Hannah Anderson was "trouble."

"I remember very vividly telling my brother, 'She's trouble,'" Lora said. "I said, 'You need to watch out for that one.'"

Lora is adamant the case against her brother was not "clear," according to CNN. She believes there is more to the story.

"The only evidence that has come forward at this point is the fact the two bodies were found on his property," Lora told Piers Morgan. "There's a lot of missing information. I have yet to see any solid evidence."

The alleged kidnapping of Hannah occurred on Aug. 4, leading to a multi-state wide manhunt for DiMaggio. Lora's brother was accused of killing Hannah's mother and brother, then burning their home. Hannah was rescued on Aug. 10 in a rural area of Idaho.

A memorial service was held for Christina and Ethan on Aug. 24. Hannah has shied away from the media since her return, but broke her public silence with a TODAY Show interview.

Hannah is trying to move on from the tragedy, leaning on friends and family for support during this difficult time.

"In the beginning, I was a victim," Hannah told the TODAY Show. "But now knowing everyone out there's helping me, I consider myself a survivor instead."
