Ever since comedian Hannibal Buress spoke about Bill Cosby's questionable past during one of his stand-up shows last October, which was apparently a huge Hollywood secret, Cosby has been all over the news, and it's typically pretty negative. At least 24 women have come out and accused him of sexual harassment and rape, but rapper Joey Bada$$ has, shockingly, defended Cosby.
Earlier today, the 20-year-old rapper went on a Twitter rant, starting it off by saying, "I don't f**k with the Bill Cosby slander." He then went on to say that he is, of course, against a rapist, but he completely blames the media for blowing Cosby's rape allegations out of proportion.
"Every media site can start slandering anyone at any moment with some half ass story and you guys will f**king believe it," he wrote. "At the end of the day...Yall know the media is all propaganda and distractions anyway. The media rapes, brainwash, kill and humiliate more people than anyone on this planet bruh. F**k you mean. You always gotta know there is a REAL story underneath the COVER story.... The MEDIA knows what to tell you. They know what you know and they know what they want you to believe."
He continued to claim that the media is "brainwashing" us, and seemed to be looking for some sort of proof to Cosby's past, according to Billboard. He even told his followers to follow him on Snapchat to hear his full side of the story. One of his followers tweeted at him, "bro we all felt that way, but this n**ga said he did it, it came out of his own mouth," to which the rapper replied, "send video clip."
This all comes just a month after court documents were found stating that in 2005, Cosby admitted to giving quaaludes to "young women he wanted to have sex with." Another deposition from 10 years ago was also just revealed this past weekend, stating that the comedian presented himself as an "apologetic cavalier playboy who used a combination of fame, apparent concern and powerful sedatives" to go after these young women.
