Thor may not be taking up sides in the "Civil War" between Captain American and Iron Man, but Marvel fans should keep their eyes peeled for a few hints at what the Asgardian's next sequel, "Thor: Ragnarok," has in store.
Jaimie Alexander, who plays Lady Sif in the "Thor" films, recently teased a possible tie-in from "Ragnarok" in "Captain America: Civil War." The 31-year-old actress has accepted the responsibility on multiple occasions of tying together the universe's big-screen action with its small-screen counterpart, "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
"Yeah, there's a lot of great stuff they've peppered in through 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' 'The Avengers,' 'Captain' will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films," she told the Los Angeles Times' Hero Complex blog.
Like most stars in the MCU, Alexander couldn't share much more about the third "Thor" film at risk of retribution by the studio. She was able to hint at a much bigger role for Lady Sif in the sequel.
"Marvel, I think on purpose, they don't tell me certain things. Because they know I'll be like, 'So here's what's gonna happen.' But I do know I will be in 'Thor 3' and that Sif will have a very pivotal part in that movie. I just can't tell you what because I'll get shot," she said.
Alexander next stars in the new NBC series "Blindspot," which premieres on Monday, Sept. 21. "Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to hit theaters on Nov. 3, 2017.
