For those of you who are still reeling from the “Pretty Little Liars” EzrA reveal, and are quite confused, I’ve got some bad news for you. Get ready to be more confused.
According to an interview Wednesday between TVLine.com and PLL executive producer Oliver Goldstick, there’s a strong possibility that Ezra is—and isn’t—‘A.’ Yup, you read that right, that wasn’t a typo.
Previously Lucy Hale, who plays Aria, said Ezra was her character’s true love. Goldstein said Ezra’s secret will affect the two lovebird’s but ‘not right away.’
The EP added that fans will be saying, “’Gee golly, gee whiz, what is going on?! How can this person be living a double life?’
He added, “What you’re really going to find out is this whole Jekyll-and-Hyde factor about Ezra — it’s going to blow your mind.”
Jekyll-and-Hyde? Well that’s obviously not good. However, that does ignite a theory. Here it is:
What if Ezra has multiple-personality disorder and used to be a patient at Radley or another mental hospital before arriving in Rosewood? It seems everyone involved with ‘A’ team has some sort of connection to the facility. It would very much explain the connection to Wren—who we still have major questions. Ezra and Wren could have met in Radley and formulated a plan. Also, what if Wren (the doctor) is using Ezra (the patient). Many fans are saying Ezra makes sense as to go after Ali because he has a history of going after younger girls. But doesn’t Wren have one too?
This storyline would make sense but of course it’s just a theory.
If this is the case and Ezra is sick, hopefully for the Liars sake he gets help soon. You can view the entire TVLine interview here.
Think the theory is possible? Or is it totally ridiculous? Comment below.
We will next see the Liars in the Halloween Special which airs Oct. 22, 8/7c on ABC Family.
