A blind dog named Buddy is lucky to have a creative pet owner who made him a clever bumper device to stop him from crashing into walls.
While he roams around the house, the ring would make contact with the wall first and would prompt him to turn away, thus helping him avoid bumping into the wall.
"Our dog Buddy has become blind because of cataracts," the dog's owner wrote in the YouTube video's description. "My fiancé has made him this bumper harness so that he can confidently walk around the house without hurting himself."
The video concludes with the pooch heading to its owners after a safe trip around the house.
"This needs to be a thing," one viewer commented. "Seriously. Make this happen for other animals in need."
Many viewers praised the invention, encouraging the owner to bring it to Kickstarter. One viewer said that it was a "simple, cheap, and effective" device with an "excellent design."
