Bobbi Kristina Brown has died after nearly six months after she was found unconscious in her bathtub. The 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown passed away at a hospice center in Atlanta, according to E! News.
"Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God," the Houston family said in a statement to E! News. "We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
Bobbi Kristina was originally found face down and unresponsive in her bathtub on Jan. 31 and put into a medically induced coma shortly after. Her family moved her to hospice care on June 24.
"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now," Pat Houston said in a statement to E! News at the time.
The sister of Whitney Houston, Pat Houston is the co-legal guardian of Bobbi Kristina with her father Bobby Brown. She recently cleaned out Bobbi Kristina's home in Roswell, Ga.
"She kept all the pictures and Whitney's platinum and gold album plaques," a source told Us Weekly. "But she threw everything else out. Everything is at Pat's house now."
At 6:53 p.m. on Sunday, Bobby Brown tweeted that he has just arrived home in Los Angeles. Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon has set his Twitter to private.
