Robin Thicke Photo Scandal: Mystery Girl in Butt-Grabbing Pic Speaks Out, Posts More Shots with ‘Blurred Lines’ Singer (SEE THEM)

The mystery girl in Robin Thicke's butt-grabbing photo has been revealed as New York socialite Lana Scolaro. The young woman caught in the middle of the photo scandal spoke to Celebuzz about the picture, which she posted on her Instagram page.

She revealed that she met the "Blurred Lines" singer a week prior to taking the photo at a VMA after party. She also revealed that she had "just moved to New York about a month ago."

"We have mutual friends in common. I actually met him a week before the after party," she said. "I was actually going over to the DJ booth and he followed me. His security guard took the photo and said 'You guys make a cute couple.'"

"I knew his hand was on my butt, but I didn't know that there was a mirror," she continued. "I didn't even know that was the reflection until I uploaded it, and someone commented on it. I was just like, 'Oh I'll Instagram this photo with Robin Thicke, like everybody else.'"

Scolaro said she didn't think the picture would cause that much drama but insisted the photo was real and it wasn't altered in any way. The photo went viral on social media after a Twitter user tweeted the flick to Thicke's wife, Paula Patton.

"@PaulaPattonXO look at the reflection girl," Jen Leadley tweeted along with the photo.

Both Patton and Thicke have remained silent about the picture. The singer did tweet a picture of his family who are currently on vacation in Florida and a source told E! News that the photo is a "non-issue" between the couple.

This isn't the first celebrity encounter for Scolaro who posted a photo with "Made in Chelsea" star Spencer Matthews on her Instagram account. She also has other photos with Thicke from the VMA party.
