Meek Mill messed with the wrong rapper when he took to his Twitter account last week to claim that Drake does not write his own lyrics. After Drake came out with "Charged Up" over the weekend, the Toronto rapper dropped another freestyle entitled "Back to Back" early this morning.
The freestyle comes with dozens of jabs at Meek Mill, including one where he tries to emasculate Mill for opening for his own girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, according to Rolling Stone. "You love her then you gotta get a world tour / Is that a world tour or your girl's tour?/ I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more," Drake says.
The tracks artwork is another subtle dig at the Philadelphia rapper Mill. The cover of the track shows the Toronto Blue Jay Joe Carter after hitting the 1993 World Series-winning home run over none other than the Philadelphia Phillies, reports Billboard.
After Drake dropped "Charged Up," Mill responded on Twitter, claiming the song was "baby lotion soft." Mill has yet to respond to "Back to Back." Listen to the diss track below!
