Zack Snyder's "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is bursting at the seams with super heroes and villains from DC Comics lore. Aside from the titular characters, fans will be treated to onscreen versions of Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, Lex Luthor and more. Now, we can add another name to the list.
Actress Jena Malone is rumored to play Barbara Gordon, also known as Batgirl and/or Oracle, Latino Review reports.
Malone was originally thought to be playing Carrie Kelly, the Robin from Frank Miller's iconic graphic novel "The Dark Knight Returns." However, that no longer seems to be the case.
It's unknown what type of role Barbara Gordon will have, or which super hero moniker she will take up. But it seems fitting that Snyder would introduce her as "Batman V Superman" will act as the launching pad for DC's Extended Universe on the big screen.
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
