Bankrupt rapper 50 Cent revealed in a court hearing on Monday that he spends $108,000 each month on expenses, including $3,000 on clothes and $5,000 on gardening, according to Fortune. Most of his spending is focused on his 18-bedroom mansion with 37 bathrooms and five whirlpool baths outside of Hartford, Conn. where he pays $72,000 a month.
The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, filed for bankruptcy last month after a New York City jury ordered him to pay $7 million to a woman who said he posted a crudely narrated sex tape she made with a boyfriend online, according to the Associated Press. His Monday court filing said he also owes money to his stylist, barber and fitness coach.
The "Southpaw" actor recently downplayed his money troubles and called the bankruptcy a "precaution."
"I'm taking the precautions that any other good businessperson would take in this situation," the rapper told E! News at a "Southpaw" junket. "You know when you're successful and stuff, you become a target. I don't wanna be a bull's eye. I don't want anybody to pick me as the guy that they just come to with astronomical claims and go through all that."
50 Cent is due back in bankruptcy court Wednesday.
