MCU RUMORS: Hayley Atwell Thinks Captain America & Peggy Carter Had Sex

Fans of Marvel's Cinematic Universe know that Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter 100 percent had the hots for each other in "Captain America: The First Avenger" and that Peggy is the only woman our boy in blue ever truly loved. So, did they ever, err, consummate their feelings for one another? Peggy Carter herself seems to think so.

Hayley Atwell ("Agent Carter") was asked at a panel during Boston Comic Con if her character and Captain America ever went all the way during their time together in World War II.

"I think so," Atwell responded. "I think they were soul mates...Yeah, I think they must have done it."

You can check out her entire response below where she goes in depth on the feelings they had for one another. Yes, even superheroes and badass secret agents have feelings. Don't laugh.

Too bad Rogers became a Capcicle and missed out on a life with Peggy. Sigh.

Atwell will return to "Agent Carter" when the second season debuts in early 2016 on ABC while Rogers can next be seen in "Captain America: Civil War."
