"Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham has been making headlines a lot recently with the release of her sex tape "Back Door Teen Mom," her arrest, her Amazon wish list and most recently her very awkward audition tapes for the role of a prostitute on the daytime soap "Days of Our Lives."
Now the 22-year-old is back in the news after giving her thoughts on what she thinks feminism is. Abraham spoke to Miami New Times to promote a gig with Vivid Entertainment - the same company that released her sex tape. The adult video company will be opening a strip club near Miami Springs and the young mom will at opening night to help promote the club.
The reporter was talking to Abraham about the event when he asked her if she was a feminism.
"I'm pretty feminine. I think so," she responded.
"Not feminine - feminist," the reporter corrected giving her another shot at it.
"What does that mean, you're a lesbian or something?" Abraham said.
The reporter then explained to the reality star that "at its most basic [feminism] means that women are equal to men." This time Abraham finally understood what the word meant and said that she would definitely consider herself to be a feminist because she feels "that women are equal to men."
The incident comes days after two "audition" tapes were posted on YouTube of Abraham and an unknown male rehearsing lines for a part she was reportedly going after on "Days of Our Lives." According to US Weekly, the reality star was trying to get her career off the ground when she decided to try out for the part of Destiny, a hooker.
"Farrah initially wanted one of the lead roles, but clearly she's not a seasoned actress, so she auditioned for the role of a hooker named Destiny," a source told Radar Online.
