Even Selena Gomez has had some bad hair days. As a preteen girl, she struggled with how exactly her hair straightener worked and it led to some uneven results.
"My biggest hair mistake is when I was younger and I was figuring out to use a flat-iron," the 23-year-old Gomez told Entertainment Tonight. "I used to think that just because visually I could see that this hair was straight that the back didn't necessarily have to be straight, so for the entire sixth grade I only straightened the front of my hair. That wasn't really my proudest moment."
Gomez is the new face of Pantene and has come a long way since sharing a home with her mother and grandmother that only had one bathroom. They learned to share the small space as well as their beauty products.
"When I grew up we had the kind of situation where we were very close when it came to beauty products or even just spending time together," the "Good for You" singer said.
These days, Gomez's go-to beauty product is dry shampoo ("I feel like all my girls will agree") and she still likes to rock the '90s scrunchie once in a while.
"I know it's kind of old school but it's really cute when you put your hair up and you let a few pieces come down," she said. "It's nice."
But don't look for Gomez to bring back the mullet style or crimp her hair anytime soon calling those two hairstyles the ones she never wants to see make a comeback.
To follow up her latest single "Good for You," she will release her second single called "Same Old Love" off her upcoming album, "Revival," according to Billboard.
