Jennifer Lopez was recently spotted wearing a diamond on the ring finger of her left hand while attending Paris Fashion Week.
The actress, who turned 43 in July, was spotted twice with the same ring but says she's still not engaged.
A source confirmed that it was not an engagement ring insisting its nothing more "than a pretty ring."
Another source revealed to People magazine that Lopez's manager does want any of this to get in the way of her resurgent career.
"She's in the middle of her tour and her manager doesn't want her distracted. He wants her to focus, and an engagement would distract her too much," the source said.
Rumors spread that Lopez was engaged June, but the songstress dismissed the claims as nothing but, "Rumors!!! Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got. No engagement!" Lopez said.
Lopez couldn't stop praising her lover Casper Smart early this year to Vogue, but didn't give much details about the relationship.
"He's adorable. He really is [sweet]. He's a good egg. I don't want to talk about it too much. It's my private thing," Lopez said.
Lopez has been married three times and has been dating Smart since November 2011.
Smart has been spending more time with Lopez's twins Max and Emme lately. Lopez split from Marc Anthony after a seven years marriage in July 2011.
Despite her three failed trips down the alter, Lopez remains a hopeless romantic.
"It can be difficult for anybody who has to stand by my side." She told "Good Morning America" recently."But at the end of the day, I know that I deserve that. For me, the biggest dream is the fairytale. I will never give up on that dream."
