Ever since the Rains of Castamere began playing and Walder Frey executed the Red Wedding in "Game of Thrones," viewers have been anxiously awaiting the day that they might be able to exact some revenge on the wretched turncloak. While we don't know if vengeance will finally be served, we do know that Frey actor David Bradley will be returning in the near future of "Game of Thrones."
"He will be coming back, but I can't say when," Bradley said at the TCA press tour. "I can't really say because things are in a delicate situation."
Bradley admitted that despite Frey's villainy, he is still a fan of the character.
"I'm afraid he makes me laugh because he's so appalling that there's kind of a dark humor in there somewhere."
If you'll remember, Frey played a key role in the betrayal and murder of Robb Stark, his pregnant wife and Catelyn Stark. The Red Wedding effectively ended the North's uprising against the Lannisters and the crown. While the ordeal was orchestrated by Tywin Lannister, the dastardly deed was carried out by Frey and his men.
Season six of "Game of Thrones" will return in Spring of 2016.
