There's a new girl in Beverly Hills! An insider for Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" confirmed to In Touch Weekly that Erika Jayne, a singer from Atlanta, will be joining the cast for the show's upcoming sixth season.
Jayne, who's had eight No. 1 dance songs on the U.S. Billboard Club/Dance chart, has reportedly already began filming for the season. However, the network has not commented on any casting news, and it is still unknown if Jayne will join the cast as a full-time member or as supporting cast.
"She brings a young energy. And she has sex appeal. She's married, but she loves to party and have fun," a source told E! News.
Some of Jayne's hits include "Rollercoaster," "Stars," and "Give You Everything." She and husband Thomas V. Girardi, an L.A. lawyer, are reportedly friends with Yolanda and David Foster, who have appeared on the reality show since season three.
Jayne joins cast members Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Taylor Armstrong, Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson.
The new casting news comes after E! News confirmed in June that Brandi Glanville would not be returning next season as a full-time Housewife, and also reported that Kim Richards, who appeared on the hit Bravo show for nearly five years, would not be returning, following her stint in rehab for alcohol abuse.
"The RHOBH producers really have no interest in bringing her back to the show. Kim needs to get help and it needs to happen outside of the show," a source told Us Weekly.
In April, Richards was arrested and charged with public intoxication, resisting an officer, trespassing and battery on an officer. In August, the reality star was arrested again for shoplifting at a Target store.
