Scott Disick got some much-needed daddy time with his two eldest children. The 32-year-old reality star posted an adorable video of 5-year-old Mason and 3-year-old Penelope dancing in the car to Demi Lovato's summer hit song "Cool for the Summer."
"Best thing ever," Disick captioned the video on his Instagram account.
Earlier in the day, he was spotted bringing the two kids to the Fresh Brothers restaurant in Calabasas, Us Weekly reported. Disick spent time with his children while ex-girlfriend and mother of his children Kourtney Kardashian was out celebrating her youngest sister Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday.
Last week, a source close to Disick told E! News that the reality star "knows he screwed up" his relationship with the mother of his three children and is trying his best to get "his family back."
"He's trying to get his life together and that includes getting his family back. He's hoping he and Kourtney can put this behind them. He knows it won't be easy. At the very least, he wants to be friends again," the source told the website.
A second source added that the father of three "can't believe how quickly this spiraled. He always thought he could keep it together, until he couldn't. He knows he has to prove himself to Kourtney. He needs to show her he can be an adult. That's all she wants. She knows he likes to party, but she wants an adult who will be there for her and the family every day."
When it comes to his children, the reality star does not want his children to grow up without a father. Friends are reportedly hoping that Disick will clean up his act soon.
Disick and Kardashian separated after nine years together after photos surfaced of Disick getting super cozy with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli in the South of France. He was photographed sharing a lounge chair with her and rubbing her back. The two dated in 2006 while Disick was on a break from Kardashian.
"Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old," a source told E! News. "Kourtney has to do what's best for the kids. Scott has been running around saying he's single. Kourtney dumped him after she saw the pictures and he hasn't been home after a month-long party binge."
