Miley Cyrus Teases Cover Art For Her New Single ‘Wrecking Ball’ On Twitter; Music Video To Release Sept. 9

Miley Cyrus has taken to her Twitter account to reveal the premiere date of her next single 'Wrecking Ball' music video along with a teaser photo.

Miley Cyrus shared the first look of her cover art for the upcoming music video of "Wrecking Ball" on Thursday, September 5, through her Twitter account. She also revealed the premier date when her music video will be dropped on the VEVO music site.

While the "Wrecking Ball" has been climbing up the iTunes chart from its current position on #10, "We Can't Stop" singer is ready to lift the curtains off her new video for the song coming Monday.

Along with the premiere date, Cyrus' surprised the Smilers with the first look of the cover art for her new single. In the picture, the singer is posing on a big, worn-out wrecking ball, in sync with her cover's title. She is clad in a white short tank top and matching underpants with a pair of maroon Doc Martens. The 20-year-old singer portrays a relaxed look with her head titled back while resting on a giant ball. She holds on to her balance by clinging to a thick hanging metal chain. The excitement never dies among the Smilers, who have long waited for Cyrus' second single from her upcoming album "BANGERZ," due out October 8. Many fans expressed their excitement for Monday's release. The video is also expected to set a new record by crossing One Direction's "Best Song Ever" 10.7 million views in the first 24 hours of the video launch.

Following her recent controversial performance at the VMAs, Cyrus faced a stream of backlash. But she continued to focus on her new music by disregarding the criticism. Her recent tweet showed that the singer remained unaffected by all the backlash she got from her "twerking."
