The first official trailer for “Ride Along 2” is out and, even though the comedic action/adventure film doesn't hit theaters until Jan. 15, returning stars Ice Cube and Kevin Hart are surely making the movie's wait exciting and thrilling.
The second film in the “Ride Along” series follows new policeman Hart and his soon-to-be brother-in-law heading down to Miami to find a fugitive (Ken Jeong) right before Hart's chracter is set to get married.
“So he’s up against the clock, he’s up against the bad guys and he’s up against me,” said Cube about Hart's character to Entertainment Weekly. “Him being a gung-ho rookie, he has more attitude than when he was a gung-ho security guard. He’s cocky.”
The upcoming film also stars Olivia Munn, Tika Sumpter, Benjamin Bratt, Sherri Shepherd, T.I. and basketball players Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
The original "Ride Along,” which was released in January of 2014, grossed $153 million worldwide, reported EW.
