Dogs are indeed gentle and compassionate. They can even get along well with other types of animals. Just ask this stray dog that was seen carrying around a baby monkey in Malaysia.
The dog, who lives on the streets, showed love for another animal species as he allowed the monkey to ride its back — and the orphaned baby found the love it needed from the hound!
The short clip was recorded by Zainal Azman while he was riding in a car on Paya Rekoh Street in Pahan, Malaysia. When Azman spotted the dog, he asked the driver to stop the vehicle so he could capture the sweet and rare moment showcasing a true act of kindness between two different species.
According to the people in the area, the monkey likely lost its mother to poachers or hunters, reported Life with Dogs. Thankfully, the stray dog extended help to the monkey!
Let's hope that local animal organizations can find this pair so they can be rescued and placed in safer homes.
