A man had an encounter with a goose and developed a very unique friendship in the process.
While Andre Bachman was driving his truck on a gravel road, he spotted a goose that he befriended. He got out of his cab, approached the goose and asked, "Are you lost? What are you doing here?" The goose did not seem frightened of the forester, cheeping back to answer.
But the unusually tamed Canada goose never left him since then, following his truck all the time. Hence, he decided to lead it to the Shining Bank Lake in Alberta, which is 10 kilometers from their location.
The goose is seen flying and walking to follow the truck. Bachman carefully drove to lead the perplexed goose to the lake. When he stopped, the goose stopped, too. Bachman tried driving 50 km/h, and the goose was able to keep up with him. He tried driving faster to 80 km/h, which led to the goose sliding behind the truck, CBC News reported.
When they reached the lake, the goose looked pretty happy with its new home. It was even seen bobbing its head in approval while swimming and gliding in the water.
It is indeed rare to see a goose as tame as this, and it is also rare for a good man to lead an animal to its home. No wonder this video of this rare goose encounter has reached nearly 1 million views since it was uploaded.
