iPad Mini and iPad 5 Release Dates: New Leaked Images Show Best Glimpse of Next-Gen Tablets, Will They Be Unveiled at Sept. 10 Press Event? (PHOTOS)

Tomorrow, Apple will be announcing the newest installment to its flagship line of smartphones, the iPhone 5S. The press event will happen from its Cupertino Calif. headquarters at 10 a.m. local time, (1 p.m. ET). While the iPhone and low-cost iPhone C are expected to make the biggest waves at Tuesday's press event, Apple is also overdue for updates to its line of iPads. Thanks to new leaked photos, rumors have surfaced that tomorrow will see the unveiling of a fifth generation iPad and a second generation iPad Mini.

A series of component leaks have surfaced from Sonny Dickson, a noted and prolific Apple parts detective who has a track record of accurately getting his hands on leaks from Apple, according to the Verge.

The assembled iPad shell, pictured above, gives us a look at a device that's almost identical to other leaks that people have come up with in recent weeks. This version even has radio antennas built into a much more sleek and elegant design.

Meanwhile, the iPad mini also matches similar video from last week that compared it to the fifth-generation iPad and a new iPad mini. Like last week, the new photos look aesthetically identical to the first generation iPad mini, making it very difficult to understand what's different about the second-generation model.

Many expect Apple to unveil the next generation of iPads at tomorrow's press event. However, with the iPhone 5S and iPhone C unveilings happening, it's possible new iPads could be overload. Not only that, but two new unveilngs of iPads could warrant a flashy press event all their own. Perhaps the company will sit on the device for a few more weeks and stagger it's unveiling with the iPhone and iOS 7's release a bit.
