Jason Derulo and his crew were kicked off of a Southwest Airlines plane in Reno on Saturday on his way back to Los Angeles when he and his bodyguards got in a bit of an argument with TSA agents, according to TMZ. One of Derulo's reps said that they wanted to get through the airport as quickly as possible because TSA recheck was down, but one of the guys traveling with him was denied preferred boarding.
This angered Derulo, 25, and his posse to the point where they started yelling at one of the workers.
Derulo was eventually allowed on, but he was the only one since it was mainly his bodyguards starting the fight. All of them eventually went through security and boarded the flight anyways even after they were told they couldn't, and once they got on the plane, airport cops came and removed them from the flight for not listening to what the airport employee told them.
After the incident, Derulo took to Instagram to post a video of him and his crew now on a private jet. "Had to fire my travel agent for booking me somewhere I wasn't supposed to be, but now I'm here," he says in the short video. You then see one the members of his crew in the background saying, "You can't kick me off of this!"
Derulo also told TMZ that he would be buying his own private jet so he wouldn't have to deal with rude airport employees anymore. "It's alright," he said when asked about Saturday. "I'm buying a plane this month."
"Southwest treated the singer and his entourage shabbily," his rep said.
