England continues its push toward World Cup qualification on Tuesday against Ukraine. After a 4-0 win on Friday against Moldova, England stands as the lone unbeaten side in Group H, Goal.com reports.
Ukraine, meanwhile, is trailing one point behind England and can overtake the team with a win on Tuesday. After Ukraine dealt San Marino a 9-0 loss, England is ready for a dogfight.
"There are two good teams in the group and both teams are capable of winning the group so it's a bit of a cup final," England manager Roy Hodgson said, via CrunchSports.com. "When you play in a cup final you've got to play well enough to win the game. You don't win games by being cautious.
"We do not have any qualms about the task ahead of us and we are fully aware of what we need to do to get a result. The players are confident that they can produce that performance."
Ukraine's rout of San Marino was impressive, but boss Mykhaylo Fomenko isn't prepared to let his squad rest on their laurels.
"San Marino and England are completely different," Fomenko said. "We previously played San Marino but we know that England have a very strong team and we know that this game will be completely different to our last one. You can't compare previous games with current games."
England will be without Daniel Sturridge, Wayne Rooney and Andy Carroll due to injuries, according to CrunchSports.com. Danny Welbeck is unavailable because of a suspension.
