Madonna kicked off her 57th birthday with a lavish gypsy-themed birthday party at her Hamptons mansion that included a star-studded guest list, but things got a little too rowdy and the neighbors had to call the police, TMZ reported.
Local law enforcement responded to a call around 2:30 a.m. after a neighbor complained about the music coming from Madonna's mansion, according to TMZ. Police say the party goers quieted down on their own before they arrived and they never got to chat with the pop queen herself.
Her Spanish-style gypsy party took place on Sunday at her home in Bridgehampton. The icon arrived to her own party "in a vintage Gypsy wagon filled to overflowing with dancers all in Gypsy attire," Page Six reported. The grounds of her property (including a 50-acre horse farm) were decked out to go along with the party's theme and bales of hay were scattered around underneath a tent where the dance party took place.
The guest list included stars Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and Andy Cohen, who all posed for a photo dressed in gypsy costumes, according to People.
"Only one person could get adults to dress up like Spanish Gypsies for one night!," Cohen wrote in the caption accompanying the shot on Instagram, with the hashtag #HappyBirthdayMadonna.
The Material Girl posed for a photo with her daughter Lourdes Leon and posted photos of her son David and daughter Mercy on her Instagram. Her son Rocco was nowhere to be seen in the shots, but he teamed up with his siblings to gift their mama with a French bulldog puppy. Madonna posed for a photo with the pup in a cute shot from the night.
"Gypsy Rosa Lee...........best birthday present ever!," she wrote in the caption.
