Caitlyn Jenner could be facing manslaughter charges stemming from a Malibu car accident she was involved in earlier this year that left one person dead. Detectives on the case completed their six-month investigation and are ready to present evidence to the prosecution that has the possibility to lead to a misdemeanor manslaughter charge against the "I Am Cait" star. Misdemeanor manslaughter usually carries a one-year jail sentence, according to Variety.
Back in February, Jenner released a statement expressing her sadness, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident," Jenner said in the statement. "It is a devastating tragedy and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."
