Oklahoma Brothers May Have Filmed Family Murder

The two brothers accused of murdering their parents and three siblings may have actually filmed the horrific act, according to the New York Daily News.

Robert Bever, 18, and his brother Michael Bever, 16, were charged with five counts of murder last month after their mother, father and three of their siblings were found slain at their home in Broken Arrow, Okla.

Officials are now saying that there was a video camera found next to three of the victims and that it was connected to one or more computers.

The two brothers are being charged with five counts of first degree murder and one count of assault and battery with intent to kill. They will both be tried as adults, according to the New York Post.

Two of the sisters survived the alleged encounter. A 13-year-old girl was stabbed but survived, and a two-year-old girl was found inside the home unharmed.

An affidavit obtained by the press says that the home also contained a thumb drive with live footage of the house, as well as audio recordings and photographs.

Several other devices were seized as well, but more information has yet to be released.

When officers responded to the initial 911 call, they arrived at the Bever home to find a shocking scene, immediately extracting the inured 13-year-old girl and other victims before tracking down the two brothers in the woods behind their home, CNN reported.

The stabbing victims were identified as David Bever, 52, April Bever, 41, Daniel Bever, 12, Christopher Bever, 7, and Victoria Bever, 5.

The brothers will appear in court again on Oct. 9 for a preliminary hearing.
