Almost two years after Morrissey authored "Autobiography," the singer's debut novel titled "List of the Lost" will be hitting bookshelves this fall.
"Morrissey's first novel, List of the Lost, will be published by Penguin Books (U.K.) at the end of September. The book will be issued in softcover/paperback as a New Fiction title, and comes almost two years after Morrissey's very successful 'Autobiography' publication of October 2013," read a post on Morrissey's fan site, True to You. "Penguin Books will confirm an on sale date within this coming week. 'List of the Lost' will be available in the U.K., Ireland, Australia, India, New Zealand and South Africa."
The plot details for his fiction novel have not yet been revealed and there is no listing for the novel on the publisher's website. However, during a fan chat on True to You back in January last year, Morrissey first announced that a work of fiction was in development.
"In 2013, I published my 'Autobiography' and it has been more successful than any record I have ever released, so, yes, I am mid-way through my novel. I have my hopes," the singer told fans, according to Rolling Stone.
Last week, Morrissey did in-depth interview for "Larry King Now," where he talked about his alleged sexual assault by a TSA officer, as well as his cancer diagnosis last year.
