This week and next week our favorite summer shows are coming to a close and us TV lovers are getting ready for the regular season, so-to-speak. So as we wrap up the shows from the past few months, here are the top three characters from this summer:
No. 3-Ava Hessington (Michelle Fairley) on "Suits"
I know many people were excited to see Catelyn Stark come back to life in more modern times, especially if you were as devastated by the "Red Wedding" as I was. Fans were most likely even more excited when the "Game of Suits" promo aired featuring her and Conleth Hill who portrayed Edward Darby. She played the part of the victim extremely well as she battled for her company and was framed for a devastating massacre. It will fun to see her now play the villain as she takes on both Darby and Pearson (Gina Torres) for malpractice.
No. 2-Savannah "Savi" Davis (Alyssa Milano) on "Mistresses"
I am probably playing favorites here but as a young kid who had a huge crush on Phoebe Halliwell, it was good to see Alyssa Milano back on television in her own show. She did her usual excellent job portraying the U.S. version of Savi Davis, the lawyer whose one-night mistake that was sure to affect her for much longer. Here's hoping that they renew the series-simply because it's great to see Alyssa Milano on TV.
No. 3-Big Jim Rennie (Dean Norris) "Under the Dome"
Big Jim was arguably the biggest character on the biggest TV Show of the summer. Dean Norris (Agent Hank Schrader in "Breaking Bad") succeeded in making Big Jim the biggest jerk on television. He went from loving father at times to devious villain. If you're anything like me, you're patiently waiting to see how Barbie (Mike Vogel) will get one over on him and take down Big Jim. We're all anxious for the season finale this Monday and excited to get the answers that Norris recently promised.
