Here's the true meaning to the phrase "family that prays together, stays together" - Anna Duggar reportedly standing by her cheating husband, Josh Duggar, following his confession to infidelity.
On Thursday, the 27-year-old former "19 Kids and Counting" star and father of four released a statement admitting to cheating on his wife using the adultery site Ashley Madison. Josh admitted to having a double life, being addicted to pornography and called himself "the biggest hypocrite ever."
Despite his indiscretions, a source told People that Anna will remain committed to her husband and their marriage. She is reportedly trying to "absorb some of the blame" for her husband's behavior.
"Anna will not leave him," a source close to the family told People. "As with her in-laws, she is turning more to her faith than ever. She and Josh are probably praying around the clock right now, I would assume."
"Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped him,' the source said about the couple's relationship."
Gawker reported that the disgraced reality star had had two accounts on the cheating website and paid close to $1,000 for extramarital affairs. Josh listed "Conventional Sex,"" Experimenting with Sex Toys," One-Night Stands" and "Open to Experimentation" as his sexual desires.
Josh and Anna tied the knot in 2008 after courting for nearly a year. Last month, the couple welcomed their fourth child together, a daughter named Meredith Grace. They are also parents to Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2.
Anna's decision not to divorce is allegedly because "she is fully and permanently committed to her marriage and her children. And she'll have the support of Jim Bob and Michelle and everyone else in their circle in terms of staying with him and making this work. Divorce is not even something that will be discussed," the source said.
Dr. John Cornish, a former member of the Duggar's Christian ministry, told FOX411 that divorce is highly frowned upon in the Christian faith.
The family drama began in May after Josh admitted to molesting five girls, including two younger sisters, as a teenager. The TLC network later confirmed their decision to cancel the "19 Kids and Counting" reality series which followed the family's Christian values.
"We're all hunkered down over here. It's just a mess, it's a whole mess. We don't even know what the truth is anymore. It's insane," a Duggar family insider told People. "I would assume he feels like his life is ruined. It will be such a steep and practically impossible climb to come back from this.
"It's like he's a completely different person from who they thought he was. They're still trying to reconcile all that they know is good about Josh, whom they will always love and adore, with what they've learned now."
His wife has issued no public statement.
