The Newsroom Season Finale Spoilers: Will/Mac Moment to Occur; 'What If None of Us Are Here Tomorrow?'

"The Newsroom" season finale is on the way and I can’t wait.

Last episode we had Will (Jeff Daniels) fire Mac (Emily Mortimer), Jim (John Gallagher Jr.) possibly screw-up big time and Sloan (Olivia Munn) make her usual extremely awkward moment.

So, get ready for a finale filled with drama, some possible comedy from Sloan and more than one possible job loss.

In the Season Finale, it seems everyone is on edge. Leona (Jane Fonda) explains that if Will and his team go down the only thing left will be the D.C. Bureau. Also, Will warns his team not to do something that could have possibly had some major consequences. Finally, Maggie asks a question that has will probably have all fans slightly worried, “What if none of us are here tomorrow?”

That’s a valid question Maggie (Alison Pill). One screw-up warrants the firing of the top people in the news division. If News Night manages to mess up a second time—then that will warrant every person in the news division clearing out their desks.

According to TVLine.com, Will/Mac shippers could be in for some much need scenes. The website reports that there will be some pretty “huge moments” between the two and one will even include the ring Will bought during the first season.

Hopefully everyone makes it out of Sunday night with their jobs intact, something that will be extremely different. Let’s hope Jim’s mess-up was resolved and that it will be the final mistake the team makes covering the election. If not, we could see some empty desks in “The Newsroom.”

The season finale airs this Sunday, Sept. 15 at 10/9c on HBO.
