'Worst Cooks in America' Celebrity Edition: Food Network Brings on Rachael Ray As Mentor; JWOWW, Kendra Wilkinson & More Join Cast

Food Network's "Worst Cooks in America" is back for an extra special season. This year, they're bringing on seven celebrities, who apparently lack skills in the kitchen department, to compete against each other in boot camp.

As if a celebrity series isn't exciting enough, the show has brought on superstar chef Rachael Ray to coach the Blue Team alongside veteran host Anne Burrell, who will be coaching the Red Team, as usual, according to Market Watch. Typically, Tyler Florence or Bobby Flay have been the other team mentor, but they will not be returning for this season. Burrell's team has come out on top for four seasons, so it will be interesting to see Burrell and Ray go against each other.

Ray and Burrell will be mentoring the seven stars and - hopefully - turn them into good cooks. Just because the contestants are famous does not mean they will be receiving any special treatment! Burrell tends to be a little tough on her team.

"With Anne and Rachael as team leaders to a roster of cooking-challenged celebrities, 'Worst Cooks' boot camp is high energy and hilarious," Food Network Senior Vice President Bob Tuschman said in a statement, according to Reality TV World. "The kitchen is bursting with big personalities and comical culinary mishaps, but along the way some of these celebs actually develop impressive cooking chops."

And the celebrity contestants are:

Barry Williams: Actor best known for his role as Greg Brady on "The Brady Bunch"

Chris Soules: Former "Bachelor"

Dean Cain: Best known as Superman on the TV show "Lois and Clark"

Ellen Cleghorne: "Saturday Night Live" cast member from the 90s

Jaleel White: Producer, screenwriter and actor best known for playing Steve Urkel on "Family Matters"

Jenni "Jwoww" Farley: MTV reality star from hit show "Jersey Shore"

Kendra Wilkinson: Former Playboy bunny, best known for "The Girls Next Door" and her own reality show "Kendra"

These seven celebrities will be competing against each other for a grand prize of $50,000, according to the Food Network blog. The money will go towards the celebrity's charity of choice.

Tune in to see these celebrities try to improve in the kitchen when the premier airs on Sept. 23 at 9 p.m.
