Gucci Mane has been having a really tough week. Days after his Twitter rant calling out several high-profile hip-hop names, the Brick Squad rapper was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia. According to TMZ, Gucci was taken into custody around midnight on Sept. 14 after one of his friends complained to the police about his "erratic behavior."
The celebrity website reports that the friend waved down cops to help with the rapper but when the officers approached Gucci he started "cursing and threatening them." He was immediately taken into custody where police discovered a small amount marijuana on him as well as a handgun.
Gucci was booked for disorderly conduct, carrying a concealed weapon and marijuana possession. He was also reportedly taken to a local hospital "as a precaution," TMZ reports. The rapper is said to still be hospitalized.
Besides getting into a Twitter rant with stars like Nicki Minaj, Gucci was also involved in a mall fight out in Atlanta. According to XXL Magazine, a video was posted on Instagram that shows a man who looks like Gucci squaring up with an unknown male at the Lenox Square Mall.
It's not clear what sparked the fight but in the video the "Trap House" rapper and another guy is seen circling around each other with their fists up before a woman separates them before either one could throw any punches.
As Gucci walks away onlookers chant "Burr!" His downward spiral all began with a Twitter rant where Gucci made claims he had sex with Nicki Minaj.
"May God strike me dead if I ever had sex wit that man," Minaj responded on Twitter. "Lmfaooooooo. N**a da way ya #ugliness is set up #BubbaGump #crackhead. Jesus strike me dead right now if I ever had sex with this animal."
