NFL NEWS: Three Injured By Falling Bolt During Indianapolis Colts Game

Three Fans were injured Thursday night at Lucas Oil Stadium when a bolt from a fixed structure fell down to the northwest corner, according to Indystar. The incident happened during the Colts final preseason game against the Bengals and sent two people to the hospital.

"I heard a large pop overhead," Colts fan Robert Fickle said. Shortly after this, a bolt fell from above, injuring three people. The Bolt fell two minutes before halftime as the retractable roof was being opened.

The roof was immediately halted from opening, and medical teams assessed injuries in the vicinity, none of which were found to be life threatening, NBC News reported.

This is not the first structural incident to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium, as two people were injured back in 2013 when a railing collapsed during a Colts Raiders game, according to NBC contributor Henry Austin. Fans moved quickly out of the way Thursday evening during the incident and took photos of the scene.

Indianapolis Colts COO Pete Ward said that the incident is under investigation.
