A convicted sex offender was arrested Wednesday afternoon and charged with raping two women in Kentucky cemeteries, according to WLKY.
Cornelius Miller, 56, would prey on women who needed a ride then take them to a cemetery where he would rape them without the fear of being disturbed, authorities said.
Miler would approach the women in a reportedly friendly manner, persuading them to let down their guards, luring the women into a false sense of security, WDRB reported.
The judge was disturbed by the accusations, and when Miler's attorney asked for a lower bail, the judge told them both to leave the courtroom.
Miler is being held on a $100,000 bond and plead not guilty to both counts.
Arrest reports have the alleged rapes occurring on Aug. 21 and Sept. 21 at two separate cemeteries. Police were able to use gas station cameras to capture Miler's license plate and track him down, according to WHAS11.
Miler has multiple charges for which he served time in 1980, being convicted of rape, sodomy and kidnapping among other things, and convicted again in 1983 on the same counts. He was incarcerated until 2009.
Both victims were able to confidently identify Miller in a photo lineup.
