Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone dropped out of the multi-starrer "Fast and Furious 7" due to date issues and Nathalie Emmanuel of "Game of Thrones" bagged the role instead.
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was all set to make her Hollywood debut but had to back out at the last moment due to date issues and prior commitments to Bollywood productions. According to previous reports, Padukone was supposed to be a part of the seventh sequel of the multi-starrer "Fast and Furious", though details of the role were not revealed.
Now, reports state that the "Game of Thrones" actress Nathalie Emmanuel has bagged Padukone's role but Studio Universal continues to keep details of the role under wraps. In a Metro.co.uk report, the actress did reveal that she's going to be one of the good guys in the team lead by Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel.
Podukone wasn't the only Bollywood connection the movie franchise had. According to a GlamSham report, Bollywood actor Ali Fazal has bagged a small cameo role in the film. He has just returned from shooting for the film and can't stop bragging about how wonderful the whole experience was.
"I had a great time," IBN LIVE quoted the actor as saying. "I've grown up watching these films. Which guy my age isn't excited by fast cars, drag races and hot girls?"
Meanwhile, Ong Bak star Tony Jaa has also been cast in the seventh film, giving the actor his first role in an English film. Jaa said: "There is a great mix of humour and action, something I really appreciate. There is no better film to be involved in for a first US studio production."
Fast and the Furious 7 will hit theatres during the summer of 2014.
