Manchester United are once again in the news for January transfer targets, according to Bleacher Report.
United is targeting two Lazio midfielders in hopes of filling the wings after missing out on Pedro Ledesma. Felipe Anderson and Lucas Biglia are the targeted men.
Louis Van Gaal is targeting Anderson and Biglia in hopes of shaping up his midfield and attacking options, according to TuttoMercato in Italy. After missing out on Pedro, who chose rival Chelsea, it makes perfect sense that Van Gaal is continuing to search for more talented midfielders.
Anderson is the superior talent of the two midfielders, especially when it comes to completing dribbles down the left wing. His success out wide is the main factor in Van Gaal chasing him this early in the season.
United seems to still believe that, despite the lack of recent success, there is a draw to join the club.
The Red Devils are going to make multiple transfers during January, and Anderson is one that actually could happen. If Manchester City continues running on all cylinders like it has been early on, then United needs all the help it can get its hands on in order to stay competitive.
