Harry Kane is being pushed to leave Tottenham Hotspur, according to Bleacher Report. The driving force behind the rumored move is soccer legend Rodney Marsh urging the talented striker to move to a "top club."
Marsh recently spoke with Express Sport in England about Kane and made it known that the young striker should move to Manchester United or another top club.
Selling high-caliber players to larger clubs is becoming the norm of Spurs in recent history. Michael Carrick, Gareth Bale and Luka Modric all started with Tottenham, then left for Real Madrid and Manchester United. If Kane is the next man to go, it would not surprise many followers of Kane.
Wayne Rooney spoke out on Kane's possible move and made it clear to Kane not to rush his own development, according to the Daily Star.
"You have to understand that he's only a young lad - he's only played one season in the Premier League and this will help him mentally. You'll have to be patient," said Rooney.
Rooney has spent many hours working with Kane during England's EURO 2016 qualification and even played alongside him during several matches. The idea of Kane leaving Spurs is not crazy and will happen one day, it just is not clear when that day will officially occur.
